Die EUROPA-Marken mit den identischen Motiven, die sich nur in der Währung und durch die Bezeichnung des Ausgabelandes unterschieden, wurden bis 1973 ausgegeben. Seit 1974 legen die Teilnehmerländer nur noch gemeinsame Themen fest, die national umgesetzt werden. Damit entfiel der Aufdruck CEPT auf den Postwertzeichen, die nun einheitlich das Logo \u201eEUROPA\u201c tragen.
